Traveling by bus:

The bus company “RealExpresso” (www.realexpresso.com.br/) connects Lençóis and Salvador a few times a day. You can buy your ticket directly on their homepage if you have a CPF number – in case you don’t have this number try this option here: www.clickbus.com.br/en/


Salvador to Lençóis – Departure times:
09:30, 14:30, and 22:30 o'clock (Travel time about 6,5 hours)

Lençóis to Salvador – Departure times:
08:30, 13:15 and 23:30 o'clock (Travel time about 6,5 hours)

--> If you have a connecting flight in Salvador make sure to calculate enough spare time. The travel time may vary a lot depending on road conditions and traffic.

--> When traveling in high season or on public holidays make sure to reserve your ticket in advance. For a small fee we can help you to pre-book your tickets. You then just need to present your passport at the Rapido Federal/RealExpresso bus agency window on the top floor at the bus terminal to receive your prebooked tickets. In Salvador an additional departure fee of about BRL 2,00 in cash (per person) has to be paid at the bus agency window.


Traveling by airplane:
Lençóis has a small airport (Airport Code: LEC) which connects a few times a week (in high season there are more flights available) directly to Salvador and Belo Horizonte.

--> If you plan to arrive by airplane please let us know about your arrival time. For a small fee of 80.-R$ (for 2 people) we offer a shuttle service directly to the Pousada Vila Serrano. If you are a group of 3 or more please contact us for a detailed pricing.

--> Be aware that there is no public transport available between the airport and the city of Lençóis


Traveling from the south of Salvador:
If you are arriving from the south of Salvador many of the buses pass through Feira de Santana on their way to Salvador. Get off there and catch the bus connecting to Lençois (coming from Salvador).

 
By Car:
Depending on road conditions it takes about 5 to 6 hours to drive the 420 km between Salvador and Lençois. There is an alternative route via BA 052 or “Estrada do Feijão”.

Shortly after Feira de Santana turn right to Ipirá. From there take a left turn and drive until Itaberaba. Doing so you can avoid the heavy traffic on the BR116.

Transfer Service between Salvador ↔ Lençóis:

A Taxi will charge about R$ 1200,00 for 2 people and around R$ 1600,00 for up to 5 people to take you from Salvador to Lençóis (or vice versa).


Special Cars for bigger groups - Van Renault Master or Mercedes Sprinter:

For 6-17 guests the prices are around R$1800,00 to R$2400,00 depending on the number of people and the type of car used.
