04.Barra Grande snorkel trip to "Taipu Taipu de Fora"
After a rich breakfast at the hotel we will take a ride on a Jeep which will leave us at the natural aquarium of Taipu de Fora (about a 30 minutes drive). The perfect place to explore the underwater world with your snorkel and swimming goggles. The best time to snorkel is at low tide – that is the moment where the beauty of the coral reef unfolds ride in front of you with great visibility. Time to discover the rich underwater world of the lively reefs safely while swimming along the many beautifully colored fishes.
Of course a day out at the sea makes you hungry. Taipu de Fora offers different dining options in cute restaurants directly at the waterfront. Here you will find everything from a small typical Bahianan snack to the very best what the Brazilian and international cuisine has to offer – surrounded by amazingly beautiful nature, directly at the beach – you will be thrilled.
The gorgeous coral reef pools of Taipu de Fora, with its many different types of coral species, form a natural aquarium at low tide where numerous wildlife species find their ideal habitat.
At barely any other place you will find better conditions to snorkel or dive. The light turquoise colored sea water offers a heavenly scenery close to the coral reef for divers, sailors and swimmers.
